"... the future of classical music" TIME OUT

Artistic Director and Conductor Marlon Daniel and a select team of International Artists Teachers from the Ensemble du Monde Global Arts Initiative offer young musicians from the Bahamas a unique opportunity to gain orchestra experience under the guidance of some of the most outstanding professionals in the field.

The workshop is designed to provide the most optimal advancement for each orchestra musician through personal one on one and group attention in a nurturing and progressive environment.

Artist Teachers will coach young Bahamian musicians in several sectional workshops and act as section leaders in a concert which will highlight the strengths of the orchestra as well as provide the participants with exciting technical and musical challenges.

The Artist Teachers will also provide musical outreach to the community, opening their doors to the public for and performing special chamber concerts, workshops, lectures, demonstrations and masterclasses. The multi-day workshop will culminate in a concert lead by conductor and project Artistic Director Marlon Daniel.

The workshop is a movement to create a progressive music education system in the Bahamas like in other countries throughout the world that have nurtured their countries talent youth to great heights.
